1. Our commitment

Renova Nations Builders is committed to making this Website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

2. Measures we have taken

• Semantic HTML structure with a single descriptive heading hierarchy on every page.
• A “Skip to main content” link as the first focusable element.
• Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images and an accessible name on the embedded map.
• Colour combinations checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text.
• Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu, accordions and the cookie banner.
• Visible focus indicators on interactive controls, and form fields with correctly associated labels.
• Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference, which disables animation and transitions.
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320-pixel viewport width.

3. Known limitations

• The embedded map on our contact page is provided by a third party and its internal controls are outside our direct control. The full address is always published in text next to it, and directions can be requested by phone.
• Some older project photographs are decorative in context and carry short rather than detailed descriptions.

5. Accessible construction work

Accessibility also matters in what we build. We regularly deliver roll-in and curbless showers, widened doorways, grab-bar blocking, comfort-height fixtures, lever hardware, ramped entries and single-level layouts. Tell us at the consultation stage and we will design for it from the beginning.

6. Feedback

We welcome reports of accessibility barriers. Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge every report within two working days and to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days.

7. Review

This statement was last reviewed on 2026-08-06 and is reviewed at least once a year and after any significant change to the Website.
